Mothers at sunrise on a 5×7 canvas, painted with acrylic paint and acrylic paint pens. The back of the canvas has a handwritten poem:
i told the bleary-eyed mother
to turn around and
watch the sunrise,
as she held her newborn baby,
who slept peacefully in her arms.
i brushed away her tears and told her
she was seen.
i told the defeated, silently weeping mother,
‘the dawn is yours too.’
