About Me

Ever since I was little, I’ve had the urge to write. I would sit in my room for hours and make up stories about fairy princesses saving their kingdoms or woodland elves who found ancient treasures. I found my love for telling stories through theater, where I enjoyed acting the role of someone else, and building my skill base in the dramatic arts. After high school, I took my passion of writing to college, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and fine-tuned my skills in storytelling. Since then, I’ve been working hard in finding where I fit in this world, and how I can take my love for literature and share it with the world. I am currently working towards earning my Master’s in English, and plan to continue in academia for the rest of my days as a college professor.

I’ve always yearned to have a voice; a unique voice that makes a lasting change among her readers. My goal is to inspire—to help others find their voice, and then be moved to change the lives of others around them.

I hope you enjoy reading my most current thoughts, reviews on beautiful pieces of literature, my tips on wellness, and my personal stories and travel. I hope they help you in some way. I hope they inspire you to comment on my posts and start a conversation—I love conversations! I also love semicolons and em dashes and try to use them whenever I can.

I am a lover of hot beverages, getting lost in a good book (especially the genre of fantasy), music, theater, Disney, hiking, tennis, and my amazing and supportive husband. Feel free to follow me on Twitter @KassMangione.
